We have local artists which also includes the Canterbury City Community Centre's Women in Business program to showcase and sell their work. Artworks include fashion design, silk paintings, flower arrangements, the different types of artwork mediums are endless. This Art Market is located inside the Lakemba Uniting Church Hall, next to the Symbio Zoo animal display, between 11 am to 3 pm.

Street Parade

A key aspect of the festival is our exuberant Street Parade - one of the major drawcards of our festival!

Over 150 participants make up this fantastic performance with a multitude of colours, characters, rhythms and floats from Arabian, African, Indian, Chinese and Islander backgrounds. These cultures depict a few of the many nationalities in our community and showcase the cultural diversity we enjoy here in the City of Canterbury.

Come along cheer on the wonderful talents on show from our local entertainers, schools, bands, community groups, and emergency service organisations.
